What a lovely post to revisit, Kay. Especially this time of the year. I didn’t know of the existence of any of these apart from the usual. The Panpepato looks particularly delicious. I wouldn’t mind a slice and a good cup of coffee right this minute.
You are indeed lucky. Next time you indulge in one of those breads, have a slice for me. 😉 Have a joyful Christmas.

I enjoy the special breads that you find at Christmas from other parts of the world. We’ve finished our Italian panettone that was a gift as well as an imported German stollen that is almost all gone as well. By Christmas morning, it will be just tea of toast for us. 😊
Thank you, Karen. I’ve managed to save my panettone and pandoro for Xmas morning – we traditionally eat for breakfast and as we open presents. But luckily for me local Corto Italian Deli sell it by the slice at Xmas time so I’ve popped in a few times for coffee and panettone. I like stollen too 🙂

Thank you Jolandi. I’m lucky to have a brilliant Italian deli nearby. Happy Xmas!! 🎄
